1. An infection hit him hard and made him lose weight!

Pavot is a 19-year-old horse, who had piroplasmosis. A parasite infected his blood, causing him to have a fever, aches and pains, and a loss of appetite. The poor guy has lost a lot of weight...

2. A tick transmitted Lyme disease to him...

Already very tired, Pavot was bitten by a tick, which transmitted Lyme disease to him. Since then, he has been very nervous and tired, because his immune system is running at full speed!

3. Pellets would help him gain weight

To help Pavot recover and regain weight, pellets would be invaluable. Given his condition, he will need them as soon as possible!
