1. He has a burn wound on his head...

Vaniente is a cat that we found injured next to a church. The top of his skull is completely exposed and his neck is slightly burned. We don't know how it happened... Maybe he got stuck under the hood of a car?

2. Parasites have made him lose weight and all his energy!

Full of worms and covered in lice, Vaniente was at his worst. All these parasites were sucking up his energy, and causing him to lose weight.

3. With canned food, he could regain his strength

While waiting for the dewormer to take effect, canned food would help Vaniente regain his strength. This would give him some energy and help him get back on his feet faster!

4. Our stocks are at their lowest!

We take in mostly cats, sometimes dogs and farm animals in need. We were able to do an in-store donation collection recently, but it wasn't enough to replenish our food stocks...
