Balou is a 10-year-old stray cat we have been feeding for a while now. One day, while he was eating, we noticed blood on the floor. It worried us greatly. After an ultrasound, the vet found the cause: renal colic.
To better eliminate and limit the formation of struvite stones, Balou needs to eat wet food. Suitable canned food, enriched with substances that acidify the urine would be a good solution.
It would provide a balance of phosphorus and magnesium, meeting his mineral needs. This could help reduce his pain and improve his condition!
We have about 75 cats to care for, scattered across various locations, and only three volunteers. Physically and financially, it's incredibly tough. We organise collections, lotteries, whatever we can, but it's simply not enough. Our personal savings are already severely depleted and they're not inexhaustible... We can't cover all the needs any longer!
